There will be two sessions offered each day.
The morning session, from 8 a.m. to noon, is geared for students ages 8-12. Focus of this session will be on NXT LEGO Mindstorm, where students will learn basic engineering and programming skills in addition to how robotics applies to space and the universe.
The afternoon session, from 1 to 4 p.m., is for students ages 10-14 who are interested in underwater robotics. Students will be making an ROV (a remote operated vehicle) which will be driven underwater. This camp is ideal for students who have previously attended the LEGO Mindstorm camp and are interested in advanced robotics.
Cost is $175 per student per session. Registration deadline is March 15. Space is limited. To register now or for more information, please contact Ashley Chen at 238-6658 or visit www.hilovikingrobotics.com.
